Oxygen For Recovery

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can significantly boost your healing and rate of recovery from a range of injuries and infections. The combination of increased pressure and high concentrations of oxygen causes large amounts of oxygen to be dissolved into the blood and tissues.

This dissolved oxygen can penetrate areas of the body that oxygen-carrying red blood cells cannot reach, revitalising tissues that receive poor blood flow. The increased oxygen levels in the tissues stimulate healing processes including the growth of new blood vessels, the migration of white blood cells to fight infection and the boost of fibroblasts, which manufacture new tissue.

HBOT provides potential benefits for a wide variety of conditions, and new applications are being discovered regularly as the use of oxygen therapy expands. Please consult the list of conditions here to see if you are a suitable candidate for HBOT, or call The Oxygen Clinic on 0330 016 1000 to discuss your requirements.
